Privacy Policy

Applies to: “CountryGuessr” for iOS and Android.

1) Summary

CountryGuessr is built to respect your privacy. We do not run player accounts and we do not collect or store personal data on Ashak Studios servers. App preferences and progress are stored locally.

Important: Ad Threshold

Ads are provided by Google AdMob and only appear after you have correctly identified 32 cities. Before this milestone, the game is completely ad-free.

2) Data We Do Not Collect

No accounts, usernames, or passwords.
No direct collection of name, email, or phone.
No precise GPS location stored by us.

3) Third-Party Ads (AdMob)

When ads are shown (after the 32-city milestone), Google AdMob may process device info, IP address, and approximate location to serve ads. This is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

4) Purchases

We offer an optional "Pro" upgrade to remove ads. Payments are processed by Apple/Google. We do not see your credit card info.

5) Children’s Privacy

If you are under the age required by local law, please use the game with a parent or guardian.

1) License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license for entertainment purposes only. No reverse engineering or redistribution is allowed.

2) Ads & Payments

Ads: Enable only after 32 correct guesses.
Pro Upgrade: A one-time purchase that removes ads permanently.
Refunds: Managed by the platform (Apple/Google) according to their policies.

3) Connectivity

Internet connection is required for serving ads and validating purchases. Offline play is possible but some features may be limited.

4) Liability

The game is provided “as is”. We disclaim warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
