YOUR MAP STAYS YOURS
Pinora does not require an account and does not sell, rent or share your personal data. The places, notes, photos, ratings and expenses you save belong to you.
1. Data You Create
Everything you add in Pinora (pinned places, categories, notes, photos, visit dates, ratings, expenses and routes) is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled on your device, this data may be synced to your personal iCloud account so it is available on your other devices. iCloud data is managed and protected by Apple. Ashak Studios does not have access to it.
2. Location
With your permission, Pinora uses your device's location to show where you are on the map, to measure distances to your places and to guide you along your routes. Location is processed on your device and is not collected or stored by Ashak Studios. You can change or revoke location access at any time in your iPhone Settings.
3. Photos
When you add a photo to a place, Pinora only accesses the photos you choose. Photos are stored with your place data as described above and are never uploaded to our servers.
4. Apple Maps Services
Pinora uses Apple's MapKit to display maps, search for places, calculate walking routes and show Look Around and 3D imagery. When you use these features, requests such as search terms and map coordinates are sent to Apple and handled under Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Purchases
If you make an in-app purchase or subscription, payment is processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details. We may only receive anonymous confirmation from Apple that a purchase is active.
6. Children
Pinora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Deleting Your Data
You are in full control. You can delete any place, note, photo or route within the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device. Data synced to iCloud can be managed or removed in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
Terms of Service
Your use of Pinora is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), together with the additional terms below. By downloading or using Pinora, you agree to these terms.
1. Free & Premium
Pinora is free to download and use. The free version has limits on how many places, routes and custom categories you can create. Pinora Premium removes these limits and unlocks extra features such as your yearly Recap and advanced statistics. The exact features included are always shown in the app before you subscribe.
2. Subscriptions
- Pinora Premium is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, or from Pinora's Settings. If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.
3. Free Trial
The yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers. The trial length is shown before you start it. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription begins and is charged to your Apple ID. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you purchase a subscription.
4. Restoring Purchases & Refunds
- If you reinstall Pinora or use a new device with the same Apple ID, tap Restore Purchases to get your Premium access back.
- Refunds: All payments are handled by Apple. As developers, we do not have access to your billing information and cannot issue refunds. Please request refunds through Apple Support.
5. Your Content
You own everything you create in Pinora, including your places, notes, photos, voice notes, ratings, expenses and routes. You are responsible for the content you add and for making sure you have the right to use it. Be careful when sharing places or exported files, as anyone you share them with can see what they contain.
6. Backups
Pinora can back up your data to your personal iCloud account and lets you export backups and routes as files. Backups depend on your iCloud storage, connection and device settings, so we can't guarantee that every backup will be complete or available. We recommend keeping your own exported backup of anything important. Using Delete All Data permanently removes your data from the device and from your Pinora iCloud backup, and cannot be undone.
7. Maps, Routes & Directions
Maps, place details, walking routes, distances, travel times and imagery are provided by Apple and, if you choose to open directions there, by Google Maps. They are for general guidance only and may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Always follow local laws, road signs and your own judgment, and stay aware of your surroundings. Please don't use the app in a way that distracts you while walking, cycling or driving.
8. Acceptable Use
Please don't misuse Pinora, for example by trying to copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, or by using it for anything illegal or harmful.
9. Limitation of Liability
Pinora is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashak Studios is not liable for any loss of data, missed plans, inaccurate map or route information, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use Pinora after changes means you accept the updated terms.
