Your drawings are yours. Here is exactly what Solune stores, what it shares when you use the Community, and the rules that keep the Community kind.

Privacy Policy

NO ADS. NO TRACKING. NO SELLING.

Solune has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. We never sell, rent or share your personal data. You can draw and play without an account. Only sharing to the Community needs a sign-in.

1. Your Drawings

The drawings you make (lines, colors, instruments, sounds and settings) are stored on your device. If iCloud Drive is turned on for Solune, they are also saved to your personal iCloud account so they come back on a new iPhone or iPad and after reinstalling the app. iCloud data is managed and protected by Apple. Ashak Studios does not have access to it.

2. The Community

The Community lets you browse, play, like and share drawings. It runs on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging and App Check), which processes this data on our behalf under Google's Firebase privacy terms.

Browsing: when you open the Community, you are signed in anonymously with a random identifier. Nothing that identifies you is collected.
Sharing: to share a drawing you sign in once with Sign in with Apple. Solune does not ask Apple for your name or email address; Apple only gives us a private identifier.
What others can see: a shared drawing is public in the Community, together with its title, the community name you chose and its number of likes.
What we store: your private user identifier, your community name, the drawings you share and their titles, your likes, anonymous play counts for shared drawings, people you have blocked and reports you send.
Security: App Check uses Apple's App Attest to confirm requests come from the real Solune app. This helps keep spam and abuse out.

3. Notifications

If you allow notifications, Solune stores a push token for your device, together with the app's language and your time zone, so notes arrive in your language at a sensible hour. Solune sends a note when someone likes your drawing, at most one daily line about plays, and a rare reminder to draw. You can turn notifications off at any time in your Account or in your iPhone Settings. Turning them off deletes the token from our servers.

4. Photos and Files

When you save a video, Solune asks for permission to add it to your Photos. It can only add new items and never reads your photo library. Audio and MIDI files you export go only where you choose to save or send them.

5. Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details. The app only receives confirmation from Apple that your Premium access is active.

6. Children

Solune is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared content in the Community, contact us and we will remove it.

7. Deleting Your Data

Delete any drawing in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes the drawings stored on your device. Drawings in iCloud can be managed in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.
Delete a shared post from the Community at any time by holding it and choosing Delete.
Delete your Community account in the app under Account > Delete account. You choose whether your shared posts are deleted too or stay in the Community. Your account, profile, likes and push token are removed. Your drawings on your device are never touched.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

Terms of Service

Your use of Solune is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), together with the additional terms below and the Community Rules. By downloading or using Solune, you agree to these terms.

1. Free & Premium

Solune is free to download and use, with 10 instruments, 34 skies, most scales, up to 10 saved drawings, vertical videos and the whole Community. Solune Premium unlocks every instrument, scale and sky, unlimited drawings, your own instruments, full sound design, videos without the Solune mark in every format, and audio and MIDI export. The exact features included are always shown in the app before you buy.

2. Subscriptions and Lifetime

Solune Premium is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, or from Solune's Account screen. If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.

3. Free Trial

The yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers. The trial length is shown before you start it. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription begins and is charged to your Apple Account. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you purchase a subscription.

4. Restoring Purchases & Refunds

If you reinstall Solune or use a new device with the same Apple Account, tap Restore purchases to get your Premium access back.
Refunds: All payments are handled by Apple. We do not have access to your billing information and cannot issue refunds. Please request refunds through Apple Support.

5. Your Content

You own the drawings and music you create in Solune. You can use your exported videos, audio and MIDI files however you like. When you share a drawing to the Community, you give Ashak Studios a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and play it in Solune, and you allow other users to play it, like it and remix it into new drawings in the app. You can delete a shared post at any time, which ends this license for new viewers.

6. Acceptable Use

Please don't misuse Solune, for example by trying to copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, by sending spam or automated traffic to the Community, or by using it for anything illegal or harmful.

7. Limitation of Liability

Solune is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashak Studios is not liable for any loss of drawings or data, interruptions of the Community or iCloud, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. We recommend exporting anything important.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use Solune after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Community Rules

ZERO TOLERANCE

There is no place in Solune for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and accounts that post it are banned.

1. Be Kind

No hateful, harassing, sexual, nude or violent drawings, titles or names.
No content that targets or threatens a person or a group.
No spam, advertising or repeated posts.
Only share drawings you made yourself, and don't put other people's personal information in titles or names.

Everyone agrees to these rules before sharing their first drawing.

2. Report and Block

Report: hold any post in the Community, or tap ··· while it plays, and choose Report. Tell us what's wrong and we review it.
Block: from the same menu, choose Block to hide everything that person posts. You can unblock people later from your Account.

3. What We Do

We review reported posts within 24 hours. Posts that break these rules are removed, and the users who posted them are removed from the Community.
