Data Privacy: Zero Collection
WE DO NOT COLLECT YOUR DATA
Word Chain X operates under a strict "Zero Data Collection" policy. We do not have servers, tracking scripts, or analytics tools to monitor your activity.
1. Local Storage Only
All your game progress, including your level, high score, streak, and remaining Hearts/Hints, is stored locally on your device. Ashak Studios has no access to this data. It is physically impossible for us to sell, share, or view your personal information because we simply do not possess it.
2. No Account Required
You do not need to create an account, sign in with email, or link social media profiles to play Word Chain X. The app functions entirely offline (except for processing Apple purchases), ensuring your digital footprint remains private.
In-App Purchases & Currency
Word Chain X offers optional digital items to enhance gameplay. These transactions are processed securely by Apple via StoreKit.
1. Consumables (Hints & Hearts)
You can purchase packs of Hints (to reveal letters) and Hearts (to continue playing after errors). Please note that these are "Consumable" items:
- They are added to your local inventory immediately upon purchase.
- Important: Because we do not store your data on a cloud server, if you uninstall the app or clear your device data, your unused Hints and Hearts may be lost permanently.
2. Pro Subscription
The "Word Chain X Pro" subscription provides benefits such as infinite Hearts. This subscription is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on other devices using the same Apple ID via the "Restore Purchases" button in the settings.
Ad-Free Experience
NO INTERRUPTION POLICY
We believe in an uninterrupted gaming flow. Word Chain X contains zero advertisements.
You will never be forced to watch a video to continue a level, nor will you see banners cluttering your screen. Our revenue model relies entirely on optional In-App Purchases from users who wish to support the game or need extra assistance.
Terms & Refunds
1. Refund Policy
All financial transactions are handled directly by Apple. We (the developers) do not have the ability to process payments or issue refunds directly. If you purchased an item by mistake, please contact Apple Support for assistance.
2. Liability
Word Chain X is provided "as is". While we strive for a bug-free experience, Ashak Studios is not liable for any loss of game progress resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or operating system updates.
